Poems from the Madhouse of Mondragon - III
A madman touched by heaven's curse
sings shamefully in a corner
his songs talk of angels and things
that take the joy from the human eye
life rots at his feet like a rose
and near his tomb, there goes
a Princess.
Leopoldo Maria Panero
